Advanced Processing Update.
AIT 2.3.0 introduces a new generation of processing tools centered around AIT Stretch Studio and a connected family of specialist modules for gradients, stars, denoise and detail recovery.

What is new
This is not a small maintenance release. AIT 2.3.0 establishes a new processing line inside Astro Imaging Toolbox and gives the suite a stronger answer for the areas users care about most: stretching, gradient removal, star separation, denoise and detail recovery.
AIT Stretch Studio
Stretch Studio becomes the central processing hub. It includes STF-like auto stretch, Hyperbolic Stretch, ArcSinh Stretch, HDR Local, Masked Stretch, side-by-side, swipe and blink compare, history snapshots, TIFF, PNG and FITS export, SCNR cleanup, RGB channel balance, single-channel tone shaping and scene-aware recommendations.
The new Doctor tools
- AIT Gradient Doctor adds scene-aware gradient correction, exclusion regions, protect regions, target-safe protection and handoff back to Stretch Studio.
- AIT Star Separator adds starless output, stars-only output, star reduction, recombine workflows and TIFF-safe export.
- AIT Noise Doctor adds luminance and chrominance denoise control, hybrid denoise workflow, masks, protection logic and improved FITS preview behavior.
- AIT Blur Doctor adds deblur and sharpening workflows, PSF-aware options, ringing control, star and core protection.
Workflow continuity
The new processing line is designed as a family: stretch in Stretch Studio, send the result to a specialist module, process there, send the full-resolution result back, and continue inside Stretch Studio. This keeps the specialist tools focused while making Stretch Studio the command center of the processing workflow.
Quality and reliability
The release also improves TIFF save/export behavior, high-bit-depth TIFF handling, FITS/TIFF previews, full-resolution exchange between processing modules and cleaner state resets when importing linked results.
