Is the license perpetual or subscription?

It is a one-time license. Updates are included forever for Standard, Professional and Premium, with no subscription required.

Are updates included for every tier?

Yes. AIT updates are included for all paid tiers forever as part of the one-time fee. Premium is not the only tier that receives updates.

How many activations do I get?

Multiple activations are supported, for example desktop and laptop. You can move a license by deactivating an old device.

Can I use the app offline?

Internet is needed for first activation and updates. Normal processing workflows are offline-first.

Do subscribers get a better price?

Yes. Enter a valid subscriber discount code in the purchase modal to unlock the green subscriber price.

Is Seestar Companion included?

No. AIT includes Seestar ingest tools, but Seestar Companion is a separate Windows and macOS product focused on Seestar and Universal FITS analysis.

What is the refund policy?

Astro Imaging Toolbox has a free demo, so paid AIT licenses are generally non-refundable after download, activation or license delivery. Exceptional administrative cases such as duplicate payments, payment errors or license delivery problems can be reviewed by support. Read the refund policy before purchasing.
