Seestar session quality checklist.
Use this before stacking a Seestar session. It helps separate “I captured many frames” from “I captured frames that deserve to be stacked”.
Frame quality
Are most frames sharp enough, or is the useful subset smaller than expected?
Star shape
Do stars stay round, or are there trailed/vibrated frames that should be excluded?
Transparency
Do clouds, haze or moonlight create a quality dip in the timeline?
Integration value
Is more integration improving the dataset, or are late frames lowering the stack quality?
Stack subset
Which frames should be kept, checked manually or rejected before processing?
