Advanced Processing in AIT 2.3
AIT 2.3 introduces Stretch Studio as the central processing hub and a family of specialist tools: Gradient Doctor, Star Separator, Noise Doctor and Blur Doctor.

Recommended workflow
- Open the linear or semi-linear result in AIT Stretch Studio.
- Use STF-like auto stretch as a starting point, then choose Hyperbolic, ArcSinh, HDR Local or Masked Stretch.
- Compare with side-by-side, swipe or blink before committing.
- Send the result to Gradient Doctor, Star Separator, Noise Doctor or Blur Doctor when a specialist correction is needed.
- Return the full-resolution result to Stretch Studio and continue processing.
- Export as TIFF, PNG or FITS when the result is ready.
Main tools
| AIT Stretch Studio | Central hub for stretch, compare, snapshots, SCNR, RGB balance and export. |
| AIT Gradient Doctor | Gradient correction with scene analysis, exclusion regions and target-safe protection. |
| AIT Star Separator | Starless output, stars-only output, star reduction and recombine workflows. |
| AIT Noise Doctor | Luminance/chrominance denoise with masks and protection logic. |
| AIT Blur Doctor | Deblur, sharpening, PSF-aware options, ringing control and star/core protection. |
AIT 2.3: Stretch Studio is the command center. The Doctor tools stay focused, then send full-resolution results back into the main processing flow.
